Local officials, state legislators and congressional delegates impact our community with decisions on a variety of issues, ranging from downtown development, education and healthcare to industry recruitment, workforce development and funding for infrastructure.
Each year the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce monitors the legislative activity of elected officials via the Public Affairs Committee. They do so through a formal Legislative Agenda presented to the officials at the outset of the year.
For more information on the specific workings of Bradley County, Cleveland and Charleston governments and how to contact the officials in those divisions, see the drop down menu at http://clevelandchamber.com/government/. State and federal officials are included as well.
